The collection of art showing at the Maya Burrito Gallery currently is from Chieftain and Central Elementary students under the direction of Mrs. Lisa Blank. Kindergarten students have learned printmaking and made beautiful botanical prints. The first graders made Paul Klee cats and used markers to "paint". Second grade students also "painted" with markers and used tempera paint sticks to try new mediums. Landscapes and Steampunk birds were made by the third graders after learning about the Steampunk art movement. Fourth graders learned one point perspective and made some creative shape explosions. We hope you enjoy looking at them as much as we enjoyed creating! Artwork will be on display at the gallery through May 20th. Maya Burrito is located in Historic Downtown Logan at 12 E. Main St.
