With Awareness, Conversations are started, and voices are given to those who can not speak for themselves. These are the steps towards Prevention. Project SAFE, Logan-Hocking Schools, and the Community Helpers of Logan want to help bring that awareness and start those conversations. There is one Pinwheel for each case of Child Abuse reported last year in Hocking County. There are 299 Pinwheels. The Pinwheels are at the Logan-Hocking Middle School. The club made and displayed the pinwheels in the hopes that staff, students, and families will see them and start those conversations. Awareness is a key step to prevention, and stopping the abuse. The Community Helpers of Logan Club is part of Project SAFE - ATM and consist of students from 5-8th grade.
