Terrence Talley Info

We are pleased to announce that Terrence Talley, renowned school assembly speaker, will visit our district to host assemblies for the middle and high schools, staff and community. Talley’s message focuses on resilience and hope through a combination of humor and inspiration for students and adults alike.

Talley first visited LHSD in the spring of 2023. During the event, he inspired our theme of “I’ve Got Your Back." Due to the positive healing impact on students, we decided to continue seminars in the current school year. In addition to student and staff assemblies, the district is hosting a community event, which all are welcome to attend on Nov. 8.

We’ve been striving to increase conversation about the services our district offers and further opportunities for prevention. We wanted to allow our community to experience this impact and learn new ways to continue to work together to support one another and our most precious gifts – our students.
