Logan High School is offering a College Credit Plus (CCP) informational meeting to provide background and guidance about Ohio’s College Credit Plus program. This year’s annual informational meeting will be held Monday, January 29th at 6:00pm in Logan High School Cafeteria.
This meeting will feature representatives from Hocking College and Ohio University and will focus on students and families who may be new to College Credit Plus or may be intending to take coursework on a college campus as a high school student. Families already participating in College Credit Plus are not required to attend the informational session, but the meeting is open to all who may be interested in learning more about Ohio’s dual enrollment program.
Ohio’s College Credit Plus program allows college-ready students* in grades 7-12 to earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking college courses from community colleges or universities.
Currently, Logan High School offers more than 15** upper-level CCP courses taught at LHS Campus by LHS/CCP credentialed-instructors where students can receive high school credit and Ohio college-credit from a partnering college institution. Required CCP meetings focused on college application and course registration will be held in the Spring/Fall after LHS course registration meetings are complete.

* Ohio colleges admit college-ready students based on their individual college-readiness test scores (i.e. College Entrance Exam Scores on ACT/SAT/Accuplacer Exams) or has a HS Cumulative GPA of 3.0.
