During our recognition of National School Counseling Week, we inadvertently left off our newest Middle School Counselor, Betsy Semmens. We would like to take this opportunity to spotlight Mrs. Semmens and the great work she does to help our students achieve academically, determine their individual goals and plan for successful careers.

Mrs. Semmens is a graduate of California State University Fullerton, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2002. She went on to obtain her Master of Science in School Counseling from Walden University and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2022 and 2023. Mrs. Semmens most recently worked at Mid-Ohio Psychological Services in Lancaster.
Mrs. Semmens says she cares deeply for others and is committed to helping students in her care overcome obstacles to personal and academic success through compassionate counseling care, meaningful discussions and collaboration.
We are glad to have Mrs. Semmens as part of our team at Logan-Hocking Middle School!
