SALUTE TO EXCELLENCE
NOMINATIONS DUE JUNE 1st
The Logan-Hocking Board of Education recognizes excellence in our school district.
There are many excellent people in our school system, both staff and students whose
endeavors need to be recognized and publicized.
We are asking for your help in identifying these individuals. Attached is a form for you
to complete and return by June 1st to nominate outstanding individuals or programs in
our District.
The following guidelines apply:
1. Nominations may be received from staff, students or the public.
2. All nominations must be received by June 1, 2024. Nominations received
after the deadline will not be considered.
3. The name of the winner of each category will be submitted to the Southeast
Region of the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) for entry into their
recognition program. Winners in the Southeast Region OSBA will be
recognized at their Annual Fall Conference. The Logan-Hocking Local Board
of Education will recognize district nominees and winners at Organizational
Day on August 12, 2024, at Logan High School.
4. An individual may only win in a category one time. Other nominees may be
nominated in future years.
