During the summer of 2024, the combined departments of technology, education and vocational agriculture applied for a grant in excess of $1.1 million. The proposal included equipment and curriculum to bring robotics and automation process control, to technology education, and innovative agricultural technologies to vocational agriculture.
For the 2025–2026 school year Technology Education is launching a new two year program of Computer Integrated Manufacturing. This course will offer real industry tools and industry recognized credentials. Students will learn about AC/DC power systems, pneumatics, electrical controls, ethernet communications, Computer Numeric Control, Programmable Logic Control, and Industrial Robotics.
