Dear LHSD families,
Welcome back to the 2022-2023 school year! I hope that everyone had an excellent summer break and that you all feel refreshed and ready to begin another successful school year.
As a district, we are thrilled to begin this school year with a fresh, clean slate. We know that our students are just as excited as we are to start a new school year, and we recognize that this wouldn't be possible without the continued dedication and support of our fantastic educators and staff.
This year, we are choosing to focus on the themes of kindness and respect throughout our district. We will be calling on everyone to work together and to treat others in the way that you would want to be treated. Doing so will positively impact our students, educators, staff, and ultimately, Chieftain Nation as a whole.
I hope you will share my excitement for the variety of wonderful things happening in our district this year, including renovations and improvements to our buildings and grounds, as well as the expansion of our outdoor learning spaces. Without the kindness and dedication of our educators, staff members, students, families, and community members, we know that these new creative learning opportunities and resources for our students would not be possible. Thank you for your continued support of the Logan-Hocking School District.
As we gear up for another year of exceptional learning, we're looking forward to welcoming your children back to our buildings this August. Don't forget to visit our website to view schedules and supply lists, and be sure to take note of the important dates below. Enjoy the rest of your summer break!
Sincerely,
Monte Bainter, Superintendent
