On Monday, May 16, 2022 the Logan-Hocking Board of Education recognized students, local businesses and employees. MVESC SE Region held its 33rd Annual Spring Conference where two of our High School students were honored. Levi Keck was named the Franklin B Walter Scholar Award Recipient and Grace Hynus was honored as an Outstanding Student.
Also recognized were our Middle School Students for their Outstanding Leadership at the Ohio FCCLA State Conference. They received the Power of One National Achievement Award. Students recognized: Paige Fuller, Cooper Johnson, Duncan Micochero, Evie Hacker and Tayler Anderson. Unable to attend were Olivia Kerns, Michael Flory, Chase Hastings, Emma Williams, Ava Smith, and Teylar Ames
Each year the Ohio School Boards Association selects businesses and organizations that support local school districts. Hocking Hills Tourism and Millstone Southern Smoked BBQ have been named to the 2022 Ohio School Boards Association Business Honor Roll.
Recognized at the meeting were our Logan-Hocking School District retirees: Rob Ramage (38 Years), Lori Schrader (35 years), Teressa Glenn (30 years), Gabrielle Crane (28 years), Nolan Glenn (18 years), Carey Glenn (12 years), Jodi Bainter (5 years). Retirees unable to attend were Wenda Sigler (30 years), Pam Anderson (32 years), Delbert Lindsey (29 years), Stacie Sholar (27 years), and Vivian Croft (24 years)
