AFJROTC at Air Force Museum

The Air Force JROTC had the opportunity to get hands-on experience during a trip to Dayton, Ohio. The cadets began at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, where they were not just able to get an up close look at the history of aerospace, but also able to emerge themselves in some of the simulators that were available. The following day, the cadets were able to visit IFly Cincinnati. The cadets participated in a STEM lesson about aerodynamics and physics. This was followed by an opportunity to fly in the indoor skydiving tunnel, as well as do a high fly experience where they would fly 20 feet above the ground. All of the cadets came home with appreciation of aerospace and a deeper understanding of the curriculum from the classroom, as well as a closer bond with other cadets.
