Science day with students

Student Council members at Logan High School planned a Science Day at Green Elementary School. The first graders had a blast learning about the earth, density, chemical reactions, and how our lungs work. They ate dirt pudding cups that modeled soil layers, smashed geodes open, guessed if items would sink or float in a water tank, saw color-changing chemical reactions, and more. Student Council members have been planning this event for months staying after school to prep all of the materials for each station.  The event was as rewarding for our high school students as it was for the first graders at Green Elementary School.
