Logan High School hosted a Fall Writing Contest in collaboration with the district Anthology Project this year. Logan High School also had the pleasure of having Tezlyn Kraft Reardon, LHS Grad and published author, on hand to talk with students about writing and book publishing in addition to the writing contest. The students were very engaged in talking about book publishing and asking questions about the process. The writing contest involved free writing with various objects that students were given to incorporate in their stories or poetry. The objects included a snow globe, chocolate, harmonica, cinnamon, and a flannel shirt. Each student story or poetry was unique. Winning pieces will be posted to the Literary Anthology Webpage.
Winners included: 9th Grade - Percy Johnson, 10th Grade - Allison Barrell, 11th/12th Grade - Morgan Bennett, and Overall Winner - Kallie Atkins
