On Friday, March 1st, the Chief Logan FFA Agricultural Power Diagnostics team traveled to the University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH) to compete in the state contest. The team qualified after placing first at the District 10 contest hosted on February 1, 2024 at Ohio Operating Engineers; Local 18 training facility. The Agricultural Power Diagnostics contest consists of a two person team that must rotate to five different stations to diagnose and fix two system problems within 20 minutes at each station. All equipment used must be within 10 years old and larger than 30 horsepower. The Chief Logan FFA team was composed of junior Justin Sudlow Jr. and sophomore Wyatt Lambert. The team did well placing fifth in the state, earning the chapter a banner and qualifying each of them for a $4,000 scholarship to UNOH.
