The Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center honored students and teachers on the evening of March 6th at their Annual Student and Teacher Recognition Ceremony at Secrest Auditorium in Zanesville, OH. Receiving the Outstanding Student award was Bea Nutter, LHS Senior. The Outstanding students chose a teacher that made a major impact on the their success throughout their school career and Bea chose to honor LHS English teacher, Elizabeth Fackler. Tim Cassady, LHS Math Teacher, was honored as the Logan-Hocking School District Exemplary Educator during the ceremony. Also recognized was Ashton Mason, LHS Senior, as the recipient of the Franklin B. Walter Scholarship. Ashton will attend another luncheon this spring to recognize all Franklin B. Walter Scholarship recipients from around the state.
