The Chief Logan FFA Novice Parliamentary Procedure Team placed third in the Ohio FFA District 10 contest last Friday. The members of the team included; Destiny Kinzle, Abby Lehman, Avery Hutchison, Payton Hunter, Allison DeLong, Miley Bigham, Lauren Klingelhafer and Khali Sinift. The team completed a written test on parliamentary law, followed by demonstrating five parliamentary abilities while using three main motions. The team did not know what the agenda would be until they arrived at the meeting room. They were judged on FFA opening ceremonies, proper parliamentary procedure, discussion on the motions, teamwork, completion of the abilities, as well as ability of the chairs to conduct the meeting.
New Lexington FFA placed first, followed by Fort Frye, 2nd and Chief Logan FFA, 3rd, in the contest.
