Students in Mrs. MacGregor's Senior English classes learned about the History of England by creating projects about the era. This year students treated their peers to a lot of delicious food such as curry, WWI Trenches Beef Stew, figgy pudding, cheesecake, and a wedding cake. Students used cardboard to build a pillory, made a medieval castle toilet, built a forge and then forged a blade, made a working catapult, created their own woodblock print, crocheted a Union Jack, made an inlaid wood Roman shield, and we had rats explain the Bubonic Plague. Big Thank You to the incredible teachers in the departments, such as Wood Shop, Metal Working, Art, Theater, and Family and Consumer Sciences, who allow students to come in to use equipment to work on their visual aids!
