Submitted by:', "Students in Applied Aerospace were able to demonstrate their knowledge so far in class. They have learned the FAA requirements to fly UAS's (unmanned aircraft systems), as well as how to check METARs (weather reports for the local area). The students were able to demonstrate key terms such as yaw, roll, elevator, and thrust using the small UAS's in class.
