Two girls in a science classroom

Today, Students in Mr. Reichling's Physical Science classes competed in the ‚ Marshmallow Challenge in which teams of students work to complete the tallest possible freestanding tower that will hold a marshmallow in the air using only 20 dry spaghetti noodles, a yard of tape, and a yard of string. This challenge may seem simple, but it forces students to collaborate with one another in a group setting very quickly since they have only 20 minutes to collaboratively design, plan, and execute their design. Many groups conquered the challenge today, here are a few pictures of the groups hard at work and our largest tower of the day at 0.92 meters created by Kaylie Haybron and Madison Mays! Congratulations to all of our students for taking on this challenge
