This year's artists who will be traveling to Columbus this weekend for the state art show include:

Alivia Geil (8th grade, taught by Mrs. Lehman), Katelynn Krannitz (6th grade, taught by Mrs. Oldham), Isabella Lundy (7th grade, taught by Mrs. Hacker), Braelynn Beatty (5th grade, taught by Mrs. Oldham), Isaac McMichael (6th grade, taught by Mrs. Hacker), and Addison Horn (8th grade, taught by Mrs. Lehman). This year's show will be held at The King's Art Complex in Columbus and will be on display for the entire month of March. Prints of the winner's artwork are currently on display in the main entrance of Logan-Hocking Middle School. There is a QR code where visitors can learn more about the pieces. This QR code takes the viewer to a website called "artsonia" where they can buy products (cups, notecards, tshirts, jewelry, etc.) with the artwork printed on. If a viewer is to buy a product, part of the money comes back to the art department to help pay for supplies and other things needed for our art shows.
Can't make it to Columbus to see the state art show? We also have the annual Middle School art show, Seedlings, on display at the Bowen House. This show will be on display for the month of March too. The Bowen House is located at 196 North Market Street in Logan. Thank you for all the support of our amazing artists this year!
