2024 LHMS Spelling Bee Congratulations to Brooke Perry, 7th grader at Logan-Hocking Middle school for claiming the LHMS Spelling Bee Champion Title on Tuesday night. Brooke beat out 31 other spellers that were competing for the title. Brooke won the spelling bee after 14 rounds and beat out runner-up Finn Saving, 5th grader at LHMS. Brooke correctly spelled the champiionship word, sphagnum, to claim the title. Brooke will now have the opportunity to compete in the Regional Spelling Bee at Ohio University in March to try to make her way to the National Spelling Bee in Washington, DC this summer. Thank you to all our participants that competed in the spelling bee. Brooke is the daughter of Andrew and Lindsey Perry.
