Logan Hocking Middle School has been designated as a Heart Safe School through Project Adam. Project Adam is a national program that helps schools be prepared for the unexpected, life threatening emergency of sudden cardiac arrest in children of all ages. Nationwide Children's leads Project Adam Ohio which is a regional effort to carry out this mission through consultation, education, and action planning.
Since May of last year, the Logan Hocking Middle school has been developing a cardiac emergency response plan, aka "Team C.H.I.E.F".
