Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon week is next week, Oct. 28 - Nov. 1. Red Ribbon Week is a drug and violence prevention awareness campaign that takes place in the United States every October. LHMS student council has worked with our guidance department to plan a spirit week that focuses on kindness and being drug free!

Since we are doing spirit week next week we want you to have time to prepare. LHMS has safety rules that apply even during spirit weeks. We do not allow face paint or masks. Faces must be fully visible at all times. All costumes must meet our dress code policies. Costumes may not include any weapons. We also do not allow inflatable costumes. Students can't sit down or safely navigate the building with an inflatable on their body. Thanks for your help in keeping our building safe.

Here are the days and activities:

Monday, October 28th - I'm Too Bright For Drugs - (Neon/Sunglasses Day Student council will sell sunglasses)

Tuesday, October 29th - Our Dreams Are Too Big For Drugs - (Pajama Day)

Wednesday, October 30th - Lei Off Drugs - (Hawaiian Day - Student Council will sell leis)

Thursday, October 31st - Say "Boo" to Drugs - (Halloween costume/dress up).

Friday, November 1st - Be Kind to Your Mind - (Wear Red - Red Out)

We can't wait to see your students' school spirit!
