The Logan-Hocking Middle School Spelling Bee was held on Tuesday, January 10th in the LHMS Theater. 30 spellers competed to be named the LHMS Spelling Bee Champion. The spelling bee went over 20 rounds to name a spelling bee champion. The 3rd place participate was 6th grade student, Amillia Pickrell, Runner up was 6th grade student, Brooke Perry, and the 2023 Spelling Bee Champion is 7th grade student, Lydia Moss. Lydia correctly spelled the championship word, illimitable to be named the champion. Lydia will now have an opportunity to compete in the regional spelling bee at Ohio University this spring.
